*Lovey*

Breed:  Chihuahua (mix)
Gender:  Female
Weight:    Other:
Altered: Yes

Lovey is a 5 year old, spayed Chihuahua. She is affectionate and enjoys being in your lap. Lovey has no problems with other dogs, but she does prefer human companionship. She does not seem to care about being the alpha dog. She goes with the flow.

She is alert and barks when she hears/sees things. She rides well in the car and can stay unattended without destroying anything. She is a food/treat beggar and also will steal human food and trash that is left out.

She has an underbite that sometimes appears like a snarl but it's just her upper lip perched up on her teeth. She is well adjusted and not a scaredy-cat. A bit shy only at first but responds well to being pet and spoken to nicely. She likes to burrow under the blankets. She has no food aggression. She passed the temperament test of ear, foot and mouth touching.

I believe she would do best in a home with no children NOT because of her history, just because of her breed. She weighs approximately 13-14 pounds. She sleeps in a crate every night, is potty trained (Never one potty accident either) and uses a doggie door. She is good off leash and doesn't run away. She is very sweet, loving and bonds quickly!
