Nicky
March 6, 2003: Nicky has been with us for about three weeks now and he is doing beautifully. He has abandoned his bed for our couch--when he thinks we don't know about it. He has adjusted to being part of the family and looks forward to his walks, rides in the car, biscuits and other doggy stuff. We have two cats. Our smallest cat, a five pound female, doesn't like Nicky, but she is learning to tolerate him. He is well-mannered and gentle. We are presently taking him to dog training on Thursday evenings at Petco. He learns very quickly. We love him, and we think he's a happy boy. We appreciate WARF and the people who take on unwanted pets. Thank you for your effort and kindness, and be sure that Nicky is in a loving home where he gets lots of attention and gets to be a real companion - he took immediately to our grandson, who is eight.
