Maggie the Cat Maggie was at the Placer County Animal Shelter for over five months; we were fortunate to adopt her in February 2003. At first she seemed frightful and aloof with us, but quite sociable with our other cat Buster. She has now been with us almost a year and has gotten accustomed to her to her new, loving home.
